This course will cover the history of BC and recognise its evolution, it will then share what BC is and its concepts. It will share the differences between a DLT and a BC as well as a Public and Private BCs. Apart from that, participants can also gain a basic understanding about Digital Signatures and Public / Private keys, Digital Identity and how it relates to BC.
This course will also aim to help participants gain vocabulary and confidence to speak about BC. Participants will also have the chance to assess a BC maritime use case by applying the NEF original framework and gain a fair understanding of the latest developments in BC / DLT.
