Effective Well Completions and Workover Management
Workshop Overview
The objective of Well Completions & Workovers is to provide a comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of well completions and workovers. Emphasis will be placed on the practical reasons for the need to perform completions and recompletions and workovers during the life of a producing well.
The course will cover areas needed to understand completions and workovers as a production management tool to make decisions related to the types of completions and workovers including different methods of stimulating a reservoir and or providing remedial cementing operations. Also, to offer hands-on experience, attendees are encouraged to bring interesting well completion problems for analysis and discussion in the class. A detailed course manual will be provided as part of the hand-out, which is an excellent reference.
