Gas Turbines Operations and Maintenance (GE Equipment)
Workshop Overview
In this O &M Workshop, our internationally renowned expert will share his rich experiences in designing business processes and perspectives as an owner engineer with the Managers Engineers and Operators of Gas Turbines with an aim to enhance their professional knowledge & skills to avoid incidents of any nature. Our expert will discuss factors and measures for increasing profitability, plant safety and environmental compliance. Case studies in business processes by which operating companies have achieved higher efficiency, uptime and equipment availability will be discussed in detail.
In the last decade, the development of dry low NOx (DLN) combustors for gas turbines has cut the industry’s consumption of water, while dramatically slashing air emissions. Unfortunately, this environmental enhancement has created an engineering challenge: The lean-burning DLN combustors are prone to flame instability, which can cause pressure pulsations large enough to destroy the fuel nozzle tips, combustor liners, and first stage nozzle blades launching debris downstream where it annihilates other hot-gas-path components. Our Expert with years of experience in Lean Burn Dry Low NOx Combustors will also share his rich experience on this very critical challenge facing Operators of Modern Gas Turbines. The workshop will examine the factors and the issues associated with combustor dynamics, and technologies like AMFM/CFM.
