Workshop Overview
This course will illustrated all information about fixed offshore structure platform design, construction, installation stages that affect the offshore fixed structure integrity and maintenance. Systems should be developed, designed, and modified with reliability as a key goal. The attendees will apply practical tools for integrating engineering, business, operations, and maintenance perspectives into a total life cycle approach to asset and cost management.
It is pleased to announce our new training course that focuses on cost-effective Structure Integrity Management (SIM) of offshore structure platforms for fixed and floating. The main driver for implementing Structure Integrity management (SIM) is to improve business performance while meeting all business need, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. This course provides the tools for prioritizing structure failures so that effective failure management strategies (i.e., maintenance plans, one-time repair) can be developed to control the risk of losses. It focuses on the entire process of developing an SIM plan, including how structures deteriorate and fail, how these failures can be affected by corrosion management and inspection tasks, the different types of analysis tools, and how to apply those tools to the management of assets. Also included in the course is an explanation of the differences between prescriptive and risked-based inspection (RBI) approaches and where each is applicable. The hands-on interactive workshops interspersed between lectures and presentations will allow the participants to practice some of the SIM processes and associated tools. Through several exercises and case studies, the attendees will thoroughly cover both traditional and risk-based analysis methodologies by using quantitative risk assessment technique.
