Providing a variety of potential methods for waste water treatment and disposal
Workshop Overview
To comply with the environmental regulations and water injection specifications, produced water must be properly treated. Produced water comes from a variety of sources, and therefore has a variety of potential methods for treatment and disposal. This course looks at water as both a potential commodity to increase oil production as well as a waste product from both oil and gas production. In addition, when produced water is required for improving the performance of the oilfield, the need to replenish produced water with other water sources will also be examined.
Benefits of Attending this Workshop
By attending this course, you will be able to:
GAIN insights into the relationship between produced water quality and other oil field / gas field phenomena (such as climbing tubing pressures).
UNDERSTAND why various water treatment processes are needed for total product management
ESTIMATE the total cost of bad water treatment
ASSESS different testing, sampling, and analysis methods, and how they can not work
Who Should Attend
